g0r.g recommends new SAQ arrivals to your taste every week. This page explains which personal information we keep, why, and what you can do about it.
What we keep
Your account. Your email address, language, plan, passkeys and notification channels (email, Telegram, ntfy).
Your taste. Your classifications, rules, settings, the model trained on your classifications and your picks for each week.
Your cellar and lists. The bottles you add. If you forward us an SAQ order, we keep the code, name, quantity, price, order number and date. The email itself, with your name, addresses, phone number and card details, is deleted once it's read.
Your messages. The emails you send to support@g0rg.com and info@g0rg.com, and our answers.
Your payment. Stripe handles payments. We keep your subscription, never your card.
Your visits. We count visits without cookies or IP addresses. If you accept cookies, or once you're a member and signed in, your sessions are recorded to help us improve the site, and they're tied to your account.
Why we keep it
To run your account, work out your recommendations, send your notifications, answer your messages, manage your subscription and improve the site. We don't sell your information.
Where it is
Our servers and backups are in Canada. Some services we use are outside Québec.
- Stripe handles payments.
- Resend sends our emails.
- PostHog receives visit statistics and recorded sessions, in Europe.
- Telegram and ntfy deliver your notifications if you turn them on.
How long
- Your account and everything tied to it are kept until you delete it.
- Your messages are kept for two years after we receive them.
- Recorded sessions are kept for 30 days.
- Backups are erased after 30 days. What you delete disappears from them within that time.
Your rights
You can see your information, have it corrected, get it in a common format such as CSV or JSON, and withdraw your consent. Write to us at info@g0rg.com. Every member has this right, whatever their plan.
To delete your account, go to your profile. Your subscription is cancelled and your account is deleted within the hour, along with your classifications, cellar and lists.
Cookies
Some cookies are needed, such as the ones for signing in and language. The others are for recording sessions, and you can refuse them at the bottom of the site.
